Subway days out for people living in Korea

About

Small trips for your life in Korea.

A free afternoon can be enough to try a different neighborhood. We’re building English-language routes for solo outings, dates, and days with friends—starting at a subway exit on Line 4.

Our firsthand routes come first. Planning ideas and practical tips help you choose a day that fits.

A different neighborhood can fit into an ordinary day off.

K Subway Tour is for people living in Korea who want somewhere new to go when they have a free afternoon. We’re building English-language guides that begin at a subway station and turn a few nearby stops into a small trip.

Some days are for a walk alone. Others are for a date, or a place to meet friends that isn’t the usual spot. Our guides help you decide what fits the time, energy, and company you have.

Start with your next day out

Choose one station, a reason to go, and a route that makes sense on foot. The aim is a manageable outing you can enjoy and adapt: somewhere to eat, something to see, and room to pause.

We’re starting with Line 4. As firsthand routes grow, we plan to expand to Lines 2 and 1.

We go there first

We only publish a route after taking it ourselves. Each guide records the visit date, total time, and what we spent, alongside original photographs and the order of the stops.

Those records describe our visit. They help you judge the pace and budget, while giving you a date to use when checking whether details may have changed.

Useful beyond the first ride

Our Subway Tips help with planning a half-day, going out alone, meeting friends, and understanding the practical details of the journey. Beginner information stays available for anyone still settling in.

Subway outings remain at the centre of the site. Every supporting article should help you choose, plan, or enjoy a day out from a station.
